Job Description Responsibilities Clearly and accurately documents pertinent information in the patient's medical record. Consistently demonstrates effective documentation practices and develops strategies to ensure complete documentation of patient care. Completes timely and ongoing patient assessments and responses to treatments, serving as a key participant on the treatment team. Works closely with APRNs and Doctors to ensure appropriate and prescribed treatment plans are followed. Oversees triage responsibilities when scheduled. Delivers teaching to patients on a variety of subject matters and medication procedures. Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, intravenous gamma globulin, iron infusions, and growth factor support. Qualifications Current RN license through the state of CT. Previous experience accessing ports and placing IV lines. Previous experience in oncology and working with an oncology EMR. Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
