Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Certification, Basic EKG Certification Must-Have: Candidates must be willing to complete a 48-hour compliance requirement if offered. Candidates must be willing to take telemetry patients as needed. Candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered. Candidates must be willing to take mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered. Candidates must be willing to take Basic EKG and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered. COVID vaccination is required; declinations will not be approved. Candidates may not have scheduling restrictions and must be willing to work the facility's schedule. Previous travel experience is required. Locals are accepted. Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The nurse is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by themselves or others under their direction. This role utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data, plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients. A supervisory reference from the last 6 months is required. A supervisory reference from the last 12 months is also required. A skills checklist specific to Med Surg is required. Verification of the RN license must be less than 30 days old. Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required. Candidates must provide proof of COVID vaccination; declinations are not accepted.
