Data Analyst

With several locations throughout the Southeast and over 100 years in business, we are an established player in the Industrial Supply business across several diversified product lines. At this time, we are seeking a Data Analyst to collect, process, and analyze data to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making within the organization. The Data Analyst will work with large datasets, employ statistical methods, and utilize data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively. You will analyze and interpret business data including sales, e-commerce, procurement and operations information to increase sales/profitability. The role requires a keen analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. If that sounds like you, please read on! DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES In this cross functional role, you will collaborate with most departments in the company including sales, marketing, operations, human resources, and finance/accounting. Duties and responsibilities will include: Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations to create regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards. Integrate various tools and platforms and create ingestion systems to take in data from external sources Perform statistical analysis on sales, e-commerce, inventory, and operational data to identify trends and patterns System administration of key systems including ERP, PIM, eCommerce, and websites Review & develop models to forecast sales, demand, and inventory levels REQUIREMENTS BS in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field preferred 3+ years of corporate information technology experience Previous experience working with data from ERP, PIM, CRM, and eCommerce systems highly preferred Demonstrated experience developing APIs, scripts, data analysis, data visualization, etc. Demonstrated expertise with Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) So if you’re an experienced Data Analyst please apply now!
