Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianWatsontown Brick, a trusted brand within the General Shale family and one of North America's leading producers of brick and sustainable building solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations at our Watsontown, Pennsylvania commercial brick manufacturing facility.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role supports preventative maintenance programs, equipment fabrication, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyorsTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic and testing equipmentFabricate repair parts and perform equipment repairs using machine shop toolsInstall and modify equipment as needed to support plant operationsMaintain equipment, parts, and supply inventoriesDocument maintenance activities and communicate issues with plant teamsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentRequired Knowledge & Skills:General fabrication and weldingElectrical systemsPneumatics and hydraulicsEquipment troubleshooting and repairGeneral building maintenanceAbility to operate forklifts, hoists, and aerial liftsQualifications:High school diploma or GED required3–5 years of maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and bend throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 75 lbsSchedule:Full-time positionOvertime required as neededWhat We Offer:Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, VisionDisability and Life Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysStable employment with an industry-leading manufacturerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
