Payroll Administrator I

To support payroll operations, the part-time hourly Payroll Administrator I will manage payroll processing, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with tax regulations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Administer payroll operations by processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and government regulations Manage employee payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes, while maintaining data accuracy Prepare and submit state tax filings and quarterly tax reports while maintaining accurate payroll records for audit readiness Required qualifications Associate's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience Minimum of two years of experience processing multi-state payroll in a fast-paced environment Extensive knowledge of payroll administration, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly intermediate-level Excel skills; experience with HRIS systems required Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and analyze payroll-related reports
