Urgent Demand for Per Diem Pharmacists in Northern California
We are seeking 6-8 skilled pharmacists to join a dynamic per diem team supporting multiple locations throughout Northern California, including Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California cities such as Redding and Chico. This role provides flexible, as-needed shifts averaging 1-2 per week, ideal for pharmacists looking to supplement their current part-time schedules.

- Greater Sacramento area
- Bay Area/North Bay region
- Northern California (Redding, Chico)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services at retail locations
- Manage and oversee pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians effectively
- Administer immunizations as certified
- Utilize McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software for prescription processing and pharmacy management
- Adapt to variable shifts with a willingness to commute across designated Northern California regions
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience, with demonstrated ability to manage store operations and staff
- Immunization certification is mandatory
- Proficient in McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software preferred
- Willingness to commute, with mileage reimbursement available for travel exceeding 30 miles one way
- Ideal candidates are looking to expand their work hours on a flexible basis
