Procurement Coordinator- $75,000- $80,000 + Benefits- NYC, New York (In-Office) The Role Are you an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in the electrical distribution industry? Do you enjoy building supplier relationships, negotiating the best value and ensuring projects have the right materials at the right time? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We're looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join our growing Operations team and play a key role in delivering commercial and industrial electrical projects across the United States. As a Procurement Coordinator , you'll work alongside experienced professionals on exciting energy infrastructure, EV charging, and building electrification projects while making a real impact on project success. You'll manage the purchasing of electrical equipment and materials for multiple active projects. You'll work closely with Operations, Project Managers, Warehouse and Finance teams to ensure materials are delivered on time, within budget and ready to keep projects moving. This is a fast-paced role where your organization, problem-solving abilities and industry knowledge will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities Purchase electrical equipment and materials for commercial and industrial projects Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders through delivery Source products from approved manufacturers and distributors while securing competitive pricing Negotiate pricing, freight terms, lead times, and delivery schedules Build and maintain strong supplier relationships Coordinate deliveries to project sites and warehouses Monitor purchase orders and resolve delays, shortages, or substitutions Review project specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and equipment schedules Communicate material status and lead times with project teams Resolve vendor issues involving pricing, shipments, or invoicing Maintain accurate purchasing records Assist with inventory planning and identify cost‑saving opportunities Ensure purchasing activities meet company policies and project requirements The Benefits Competitive annual salary of $75,000–$80,000 Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid company holidays Stable, collaborative, and supportive team environment The Person To succeed as a Procurement Coordinator , you'll have: At least 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience within the electrical distribution industry Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical products, including switchgear, panelboards, transformers, circuit breakers, wire and cable, conduit, lighting, controls, and automation products Experience with major electrical manufacturers and distributors Excellent negotiation and supplier management skillsThe ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and purchasing, ERP, or project management software Experience supporting electrical construction, energy infrastructure, EV charging, or building electrification projects is preferred. A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with professional purchasing certifications, are welcomed but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr ecruit
