Packaging Equipment Technician, Food Manufacturing

Do you enjoy tuning machinery, solving problems on the fly, and keeping production on pace? Malone Staffing Solutions is hiring for a client that manufactures meat‑based protein snack bars and chips in Winchester, KY.

What will you do?

Configure packaging equipment and scales per daily production plans
Uphold product quality standards from start to finish
Calibrate scales to ensure precise weights and proper packaging
Control packaging speeds aligned to package size and product type
Complete shift documentation accurately and on schedule
Operate and troubleshoot equipment with confidence
Handle setup for equipment and scales as needed
Track fryer oil levels to maintain optimal performance
Verify seasoning levels; adjust application when needed
Perform oil filtration to protect equipment and product quality
Drive waste reduction efforts to improve efficiency and minimize losses

What do you need?

High School Diploma/GED
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Able to meet attendance requirements
Experience as a machine operator or similar role in manufacturing
Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
Skill in setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment
Team-oriented, yet able to work independently
Effective communication and people skills
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Compensation and schedule

Compensation: $16.00 – $18.00/hour
Position Type: Temporary to full-time hire position
Schedule Options:
- First shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Second shift: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Third shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Overtime: Optional
Location: Winchester, KY
Additional details: Weekly pay and benefits available
Job Type: Full-time, hourly
