Hours: 40 hrs/week Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Nurse Educator RN to provide clinical education and support across Maternal Child Health (MCH) units, including Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother/Baby, and Pediatrics. This role is a temporary coverage for an educator on leave and requires a strong clinical background in L&D. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver education and training programs for nursing staff across MCH units
- Support onboarding, competency validation, and skill development
- Act as a clinical resource for L&D, NICU, postpartum, and pediatric teams
- Collaborate with leadership to improve patient care quality and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices
- Assist in developing and implementing educational materials and programs
- Active New York State RN License (NYS verified)
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience
- Strong clinical background (Med/Surg experience required)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN)
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Education (strongly preferred)
- Prior Nurse Educator experience
- Experience in NICU, postpartum, and pediatric care
- Setting: Inpatient - Maternal Child Health (MCH)
- Coverage includes L&D, NICU, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics
- No on-call required
- Contract will not extend beyond 13 weeks
- Reason for opening: Coverage for FMLA leave
