About the RoleLiberty Moving & Storage is seeking a Business Development / Assistant Sales Manager to work directly with our Director of Sales in driving referral growth, building strategic relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives.This is a hands-on, high-visibility role ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, connecting with people, and contributing to real business growth. You'll play a key role in expanding our network while helping support the marketing efforts that keep our brand front and center. What You'll DoBusiness Development & Relationship BuildingDevelop and maintain relationships with:Real estate agents and brokerages o Property managers and luxury residential buildingsSenior living communities and relocation partnersSupport outreach efforts, appointment setting, and follow-upsRepresent Liberty at networking events, trade shows, and community functionsMaintain a consistent in-person presence across Long Island and surrounding areasSales Support & Growth InitiativesWork closely with the Director of Sales on growth strategies and initiativesHelp strengthen referral partnerships and identify new opportunitiesAssist with ongoing relationship management and partner engagementMarketing SupportAssist with social media coordination (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)Support creation of marketing materials (Canva, PowerPoint, one-pagers)Help execute events, campaigns, and partner engagement effortsEnsure consistent brand presence across outreach and eventsReporting & Performance TrackingTrack outreach activity, meetings, and relationship developmentMaintain KPI dashboards and weekly reportingIdentify trends and opportunities for growthAssist in evaluating referral partner performance and ROI What We're Looking For2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or account managementStrong communication skills and professional presenceComfortable networking and building relationships in personHighly organized with strong follow-throughAbility to manage multiple priorities and stay accountableFamiliar with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and basic design toolsIndustry experience is a plus, but not required.
