Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during nightshift hours
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Adhere to all facility protocols, scheduling requirements, and full availability expectations for staffing needs
• Participate in the option to pick up additional shifts beyond the standard 36-hour weekly schedule

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license or a Multistate Compact RN license
• Verification of demographics through Nursys
• Completed and approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Current NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Prior experience and demonstrated clinical knowledge as an Emergency Department nurse
• Strong team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
