Field Service Engineer

Job TitleThis position is primarily responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of equipment on customers sites. Including CNG compressors, valve panels, dispensers and communication panels. Support customers and equipment by performing warranty repairs and service. Provide phone support service reply to e-mail for service questions by performing the following duties.ResponsibilitiesManages the electrical testing, mechanical testing, field service, repairs retrofit's and problem solves, applying root cause analysis to solve complex technical problems with a "safety first" mentalityOperates on site and in an on-call capacity and specializes in knowledge of proprietary productsTrains customers on maintenance and troubleshooting as the subject matter expertPerforms trial runs of the equipmentPromotes and participates in continuous improvement effortsPrepares detailed paperwork properly and on timeAnalyzes test results, and reports out on them accordinglyPerforms weights and measures testingRuns ANGI proprietary Series II and C-Scape software properlyReads and analyzes prints/drawings to specUses AX Dynamics to look up parts and inventory logsTravels as needed throughout North AmericaQualificationsAssociates degree from college or technical school; or at least 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAccountable for managing the safe and timely testing and start-up of equipmentPercent of customer acceptances received at start-upEssentialMechanical, Electrical and PLC skillsAriel trainingAbility to travel oftenAbility to commission, test and run CNG compressors, Dispensers, Dryers, MSP's and all Panel types, and use technical gages like digital thermos, vibration analyzers and fluke metersThe base compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.For this specific role, you may be eligible for overtime in accordance with state laws.
