REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.), FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds – Performance of Interpretation, OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability), OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level II/Targeted (Anatomic)

Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc., VBAC’s, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) – Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA’s, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA’s, Chromal Tubation, Surgical Gynecology – Open, Office/Minor Gynecology –IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified
  
• Licenses: Active Ohio Medical License
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist coverage including labor and delivery management.
  
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and manage complicated deliveries such as breech, multiple births, and VBACs.
  
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide consultation for obstetrical emergencies.
  
• Collaborate with OB residents, midwives, and nursing staff in a teaching facility.
  
• Perform gynecological procedures including IUD placements, colposcopy, LEEP, and surgical gynecology as needed.
