PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Hospital Reference Testing Clerk to join our team in Richland WA.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm overtime and additional days or hours may be required

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing
• Research troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results
• Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquires
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory
• Perform sample sorting racking and retrieving
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months or more medical office or hospital data entry
• 6 months or more clinical hospital or research laboratory
• Associates Degree in Chemistry Biology or Medical Lab Science

• Comfortable with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Well organized and a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

PAML a LabCorp Company is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team. This position will be responsible for preparing and sending specimens and test requests to LabCorp and/or contracted reference laboratory for testing as well as releasing referral test results into the computer system.

Pay Range: $17.75 - $21.37 hourly

All job offers will bebased on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience applicabledegrees/certificationsas well as internal equity and market data.
