Description:
The role requires working in an Emergency Room setting.
The schedule includes every other weekend.
Orientation hours will be provided for new hires.
Candidates must have experience in handling a variety of emergency situations.
A background in trauma level I or II is preferred.
Experience with the charting system is preferred.
Travel experience is not required but is a plus.
Basic life support and advanced cardiac life support certifications are mandatory.
Skills in arterial line management, phlebotomy, and care of ventilated patients are essential.
Management of dysrhythmias and continuous IV sedation experience is necessary.
Candidates will work with various patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
Daily census in the unit is around 90 patients.
Interdisciplinary support from various services is available.
The facility offers a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
Candidates should be prepared to float to like units as needed.
