Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to assess student needs in areas such as cognitive functioning, academic achievement, emotional and behavioral functioning, and social skills. Interpret assessment results and write clear, comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations. Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district policies. Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective classroom and school-wide interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational needs. Monitor and evaluate student progress and the effectiveness of interventions. Contribute to the development and implementation of prevention and early intervention programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements. Qualifications: Required: Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid Ohio license or certification as a School Psychologist. Knowledge of special education laws and practices (IDEA, Section 504). Experience with a variety of assessment tools and data interpretation. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Preferred: Experience in a school setting. Training in trauma-informed care, PBIS, or MTSS. Work Environment: Primarily in-school setting with occasional off-site meetings or home visits as needed. May involve working with students experiencing emotional or behavioral distress.
