Emergency Medicine Physician

Locum Emergency Medicine MD/DO needed in Florence, South Carolina


Coverage needed in September and October 2025 - More dates to come.


Qualifications:

EM Board Certified (family med is NOT acceptable)

South Carolina Medical License REQUIRED


CSR and DEA that can remain permanently registered in South Carolina

Assignment Details:

ED night shift coverage needed (11p-7am)

Mainly looking for 8 hour shifts (However, we can accommodate 12 hour shifts IF NEEDED)

Must be Emergency Medicine Residency Trained

ED volume = 190 visits/day on average

MRMC is a level 2 trauma center

MRMC has a very low transfer rate

We have APP support (5 in total, mix of NPs and PA s)

We also have APP extenders and scribes

ALL emergency medicine procedures are required

Comfortability with all ages is a REQUIREMENT

We have a newly built ED that opened in 2021 with 80 beds and a separate psych area. It is also built for seeing 100,000 patients/year.
