Scientist I (Microbiology) - Eurofins Environment Testing, Pomona, CA

Eurofins seeks a Scientist I for microbiology testing in drinking water and wastewater analysis at its Pomona laboratory. The full-time entry-level role involves routine coliform, Legionella, and Enterococcus analysis, quality control, data documentation, and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine coliform and heterotrophic plate count analysis
- Perform Legionella, Enterococcus, and Pseudomonas testing procedures
- Execute quality control protocols and media preparation
- Process, enter, validate, and document analytical data
- Notify clients of test results and communicate findings
Requirements
- Two years of college-level science courses, preferably with laboratory experience
- Excellent aseptic technique in microbiology procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Meticulous attention to detail and documentation practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $22.20–$27.00 per hour (DOE)
