With a Special Education counselor dedicated to all counseling services, your focus will be on conducting comprehensive evaluations, preparing insightful reports, and participating in ARD meetings. This specialized role allows you to apply your expertise where it's needed most—shaping positive outcomes for students.

Qualifications & Required Credentials:

• Valid School Psychologist certification for Texas
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and report writing
• Understanding of special education processes and ARD/IEP meetings
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students K-12 across multiple school sites
• Prepare clear, concise, and timely psychoeducational reports
• Attend ARD meetings and contribute as an expert in assessment and eligibility determination
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educators to interpret assessment results
• Maintain accurate records and assist in adhering to special education timelines

This contract spans from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a welcoming work week of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday. The pay range for this assignment is $45-$50 per hour, reflecting the significance and specialized nature of your contributions.
