Details 21-bed Med-Surg Neuro unit Patient population includes neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, stroke, TBI, and spinal cord injury cases Surgical caseload includes brain and spine tumor resections, spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer Level IV Epilepsy center caring for patients with implanted electrodes and scalp leads D/N rotation schedule at 36 hrs/wk Requirements Active RN license (NH or Compact) BLS certification required Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years Experience with chest tubes and general tube management Experience managing drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients Experience caring for trach and laryngectomy patients Telemetry experience Experience managing complex wounds Central line care, maintenance, and blood draw experience Additional Information Care for patients in the only Epilepsy Center in Vermont and New Hampshire Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered American Traveler Job ID P-748657.
