Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients. \n
- Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and therapeutic needs. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address client challenges effectively. \n
- Provide education and ongoing support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies. \n
- Regularly monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes. \n
- Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment approaches. \n
- Maintain confidential and accurate client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to broaden your skills and knowledge. \n
- Advocate for clients to destigmatize mental health issues and meet their diverse needs effectively. \n
As an LMFT at Horizon Healthcare Solutions, you will focus on a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also support marginalized groups, including the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing crucial resources and therapeutic support to aid in their mental wellness journey.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary for this position. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to create a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. \n
- Demonstrable empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to clients’ experiences. \n
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure effective workload management. \n

- Prior experience working in community health settings is preferred. \n
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, is highly desirable. \n
- Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in therapy practices. \n

- Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, based on qualifications and experience. \n
