Dental Assistant Position Dental Associates of Northern Virginia is looking for a Dental Assistant in Woodbridge, Virginia to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Qualifications: 2 years on-the-job experience X-Ray certification - Required High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
