Job Summary:
An MRI Technologist position is available in Sanford, North Carolina. This role involves operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce diagnostic images. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), R (Registered Technologist), MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification; technical school or university appropriate for completion of certifications; must be able to work independently; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Float: Assist in other imaging areas during downtime as needed.
• Additional Information: Position created to provide coverage for leave in the imaging department at a 137-bed acute care hospital. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, serves as a primary stroke center, and offers services including cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, emergency department, gastroenterology, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and wound care. The unit is staffed with Siemens Symphony MRI equipment, and the local rate is $45 per hour.
