Qualifications & Desired Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility for CFY supervision Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices Background in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative therapy to elementary students with profound communication needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Support students in mastering communication using AAC and other devices Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize each childs progress Regularly document student progress and participate in IEP and team meetings Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that celebrates each childs achievements Youll find deep fulfillment as you help students make meaningful connections and reach their unique milestones.
