Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department Where You Will Work: The Atrium Health Union Emergency Department is a 34-bed unit with an associated 10-bed Behavioral Health Holding Unit. We offer services 24 hours a day, supplying or providing unscheduled episodic services to patients in need of immediate or urgent medical attention. We work in a fast-paced environment and deliver the highest quality patient care with a focus on unparalleled patient experience. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. About This Location: Atrium Health Union is a 182-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services, including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children’s center, interventional heart program and physician practices. Over the past 15-plus years our hospital has been serving the Monroe area, and we have worked to add new services and more specialized physicians and programs to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community.
