Job Opportunity Angels of Care has an opportunity for a part‑time or full‑time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), or Speech‑Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP‑CF). Job Description Implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional disabilities and delays by planning and administering speech therapy services in the home and community. Responsibilities Perform evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop goals appropriate to the child. Create and implement speech therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician. Assist pediatric patients in developing or regaining cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing and/or social/emotional functioning to improve their level of independence. Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to carry over therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine. Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children in accordance with the physician order. Design and instruct patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs to assure continuation of the therapeutic plan following discharge. Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system. Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
