Manager, Global HR & Compliance

Overview We are seeking a Global HR & Compliance Manager to work in our Atlanta, GA office, responsible for global policies, handbooks, background checks, audits, and compliance with Equal Employment/OFCCP, AAP, EEO, Vets, California Pay Data, and relevant federal and state laws and regulations. Responsibilities Work closely with the Legal team on employment‑related issues, communicating laws and company impacts to HR, management, and employees. Ensure HR compliance with state and federal regulations such as FLSA, FCRA, OFCCP, and state sick/leave laws, and support HR in creating compliant processes. Act as a consultant on federal contractor obligations and provide guidance during contract proposals on EEO, background checks, and data privacy. Manage the compliance program: track trends, identify gaps, maintain communications, systems, processes, and policies. Stay up‑to‑date with legal and regulatory changes and communicate impacts to the organization. Provide consultation to HR, leaders, and employees on the interpretation and application of company HR policies and procedures. Initiate recommendations to address systemic problems, including policy clarification, training, or other interventions. Oversee pre‑selection activities (drug testing, reference checks, etc.) to ensure compliance with policies. Verify employment eligibility for new hires and existing associates. Develop, analyze, update, and revise HR policies, manuals, forms, and documents; notify stakeholders of changes. Maintain regulatory compliance in all countries where the firm operates. Manage vendor relationships for background checks, immigration, labor law postings, OFCCP compliance, and the compliance hotline. Manage international visa processing, liaise with immigration attorneys, and prepare government submissions. Execute the annual compliance training program for Anti‑Harassment and the Ethics Compliance Hotline, ensuring timely resolution of hotline allegations. Partner with local counsel in Romania, South Africa, KSA, Ecuador, Canada, UK, and other global markets. Prepare annual OFCCP AAP/EEO/Vets reporting and assist with MSA/RFP background check requirements. Support other compliance projects such as I‑9s and annual training. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or related field. Eight or more years of HR or employment‑related reporting or compliance experience. Experience with HRIS (preferably Workday) and ATS systems, including report generation. Expertise in OFCCP compliance and the creation and implementation of an AAP. Expert level experience with immigration/visa sponsorship and immigration law. Global experience preferred (UK, EMEA, Central and South America). Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage senior stakeholder relationships. Strong teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills; experience managing project teams. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; ability to meet multiple deadlines. Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, including pivot tables. Ability to interpret compliance data, conduct analysis, and make recommendations. Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills at all organizational levels. Sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
