Marketo Developer

We are seeking a Marketing Technology Developer with strong technical experience in Adobe Marketo Engage. This role supports the development, maintenance, integration, and optimization of the technical capabilities that power the marketing technology and automation environment. This is a technical development role focused on the underlying architecture and functionality of marketing automation platforms rather than day-to-day campaign or asset production. The successful candidate will work with email templates, forms, landing pages, program templates, campaigns, snippets, tokens, scripts, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Provide technical development support for Adobe Marketo Engage. Review, troubleshoot, maintain, and modify code supporting emails, forms, landing pages, program templates, campaign templates, snippets, tokens, and other marketing assets. Develop and execute scripts supporting platform operations, migrations, data management, taxonomy updates, reporting, and large-scale updates. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot REST API and Bulk API integrations. Support authentication, webhooks, data exchange, and integrations between marketing platforms and enterprise systems. Develop automation solutions that reduce manual administration and improve operational efficiency. Support technical migrations, platform modernization efforts, and large-scale changes across the marketing technology environment. Identify opportunities to improve scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability of existing solutions. Partner with platform owners, marketing operations, engineering, and technical teams to translate business and platform requirements into technical solutions. Document code, scripts, integrations, dependencies, configurations, and technical processes. Follow established development, testing, security, change management, and deployment practices. Required Skills Adobe Marketo Engage HTML CSS REST APIs Bulk APIs JSON Webhooks System integrations Marketing automation platforms Technical troubleshooting and problem solving Qualifications Hands-on technical development experience with Adobe Marketo Engage or a comparable enterprise marketing automation platform such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Adobe Campaign, Oracle Eloqua, or similar. Experience working with the technical structure of marketing assets, including forms, landing pages, templates, reusable content components, personalization variables/tokens, and related capabilities. Experience working with REST APIs, Bulk APIs, or comparable platform APIs. Experience developing, maintaining, or troubleshooting system integrations and automated workflows. Working knowledge of APIs, authentication, JSON, webhooks, and data exchange between systems. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with development lifecycle practices, including testing, validation, documentation, deployment, and change management.
