Role Description
The Real Estate Closing Coordinator will work directly with the firm's real estate law department, assisting attorneys, clients, lenders, and title companies throughout the residential real estate transaction process. Your primary focus will be managing settlement services and ensuring that all closing requirements are met with precision and professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities
- Settlement Management: Prepare Settlement Statements for closings and manage ledgers/disbursements.
- Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for direct communication with clients.
- Title Review: Review land title commitments and process documents for recording.
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive support to attorneys to ensure files move smoothly from contract to closing.
- Systems & Tech: Interface with various online platforms and handle high-volume phone interactions.
Qualifications
- High Energy: Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Mathematical Precision: Necessity for excellence in math calculations and financial ledger management.
- Deadline Driven: Proven ability to track and meet multiple tight deadlines simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Organizational Expert: Superior time management, organization, and calendar management skills.
- Preferred: A Notary license is a plus, though not required.
