We are seeking Railcar Repairmen-Welders for our facility in Rains, SC (35 miles west of Myrtle Beach, SC). The position entails repairing railcars that require routine maintenance or wreck reconstruction. This is an outdoor facility and requires the candidate to be physically fit.

We are a privately-owned small business, with 12 employees. Our core management team has over 60 years combined experience with large national contractors and small business start-ups. Our facility is M-1003 Certified.

The candidate must have at least 5 years experience in the maintenance industry and has to be a hands on individual. Welding, fabrication and mechanical skills are required. Proficient use of hand tools is required. Local travel and some overnight stays are required, but will constitute less than 10% of work hours.

Individuals must be able to pass an AWS D15.1 Welding test for Stick and MIG welding processes. Excellent torch skills are also required. Drug testing and background checks are required before an offer of employment is made.
