- 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, OR 97239
- 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98661
- ARRT (MRI)
- BLS (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years MRI experience
- Must have worked as an MRI Tech in a hospital setting within the last 6 months (flexible up to 9 months on a case-by-case basis)
- Advanced MRI protocols (head, neck, spine, abdomen, chest, extremities)
- Operation of superconductive MRI systems
- Strong patient safety and MRI safety practices
- VA systems familiarity preferred (DHCP / RIS / PACS)
- Perform complex MRI examinations per radiologist protocols
- Verify patient identity and pregnancy status
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients during scans
- Maintain imaging quality and documentation in VA systems
- Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency imaging
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and VA policies
- Coordinate with radiologists, chief technologists, and clinical staff
- Must commit to a minimum of 6 months
- Candidates may be required to work at either Portland or Vancouver location based on facility needs.
