We are looking for an experienced Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our growing team and play a key role in developing machining processes for complex aerospace parts.

Position Summary

The Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist will independently program, set up, prove out, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC milling and turning operations while working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
• Develop machining strategies from engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
• Perform complete machine setups, prove-outs, and first-piece validation.
• Optimize tooling, cycle times, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, fixture, and programming issues.
• Support production launches and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Mentor and support less experienced machinists as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of CNC programming and machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming CNC mills and lathes.
• Proficiency with Mastercam and/or Virtual Gibbs
• Experience with Fanuc controls.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Experience performing complete machine setups and program prove-outs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
