Construction Technician

Join as a Construction Technician to support network construction projects, including aerial and underground installations, and MDU work. Key Responsibilities

• Perform groundwork tasks such as digging, trenching, and site restoration.
• Execute aerial installations by pulling lasher, strand, and cable between poles.
• Operate and maintain crew equipment and vehicles safely.
• Ensure safety compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Support construction activities in various outdoor conditions, often near power lines.

Qualifications And Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; entry-level candidates welcome with training provided.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb poles, and work in tight spaces.
• Good vision, focus, and familiarity with basic computer systems.
• Preferred: basic math skills, testing equipment knowledge, and ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license.

Additional Information

• Travel, including overnight stays, is required, with accommodations provided.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, day or night, with potential for overtime and on-call work.
• Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $28.20 per hour, based on skills and location.
