Tax Credit Senior Counsel

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Senior Counsel in Saint Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax credit finance and development, particularly in real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidates in St. Louis are strongly preferred, though consideration will be given to applicants for any office, including virtual locations. Duties Advise clients on tax credit finance and development matters. Manage complex real estate finance transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions. Ensure compliance with relevant tax credit regulations. Requirements Minimum of eight years of experience in tax credit finance. Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one. Experience with New Markets Tax Credits preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar membership in good standing. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
