CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH- OPERATING ROOM (OR)- Per Diem

Responsibilities Certified Surgical Tech, Operating Room – Per Diem Day Shift. This opportunity is per diem with a convenient day shift schedule. Need to be experienced in Vascular and Ortho. Location: Wellington, Florida. Wellington Regional Medical Center is a 235‑bed acute care hospital located in Wellington, Florida. Core duties include providing constant technical assistance to the surgeon, following AORN and AST standards, and being willing to cross‑train and float as needed. Qualifications Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent. Surgical Technician certification required. Six months of operating room experience. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification. Role and Responsibilities The surgical technician functions as a cooperative team member in the Surgical Services department by demonstrating the ability to provide constant technical assistance to the surgeon within his or her scope of practice.
