Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | Rotating Weekends
Salary: $33.85 - $47.02/hr
Night Shift Differential: $4.75/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department for an exciting Permanent opportunity in Hudson, FL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established nursing standards and department protocols.

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients presenting with emergency medical conditions.

• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by providers.

• Perform ongoing patient assessments, including pain management and reassessment following interventions.

• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings in the electronic medical record.

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, and disease prevention strategies.

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Advocate for patients and support a positive patient experience throughout the continuum of care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse License required.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) required.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) required within 6 months of hire.

• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 1 year of hire.

• Minimum 6 months of Emergency Department RN experience required.

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
