Certified Caregiver Join our exceptional team at Grandview Terrace in Sun City West, AZ as a part‑time Certified Caregiver working up to 24 hours per week. Your Mission: The Certified Caregiver provides supervisory, personal or directed care services to assisted‑living residents in a safe, friendly and efficient manner. Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, nights 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Wage Differentials: Shift differential of $2.25 (M‑F 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.) and weekend differential of $2.25 (Fri 6 p.m. – Mon 6 a.m.). Why Choose Us? Key Responsibilities Greet all residents and visitors in a friendly, cheerful and professional manner. Provide companionship and safe non‑medical care to residents. Perform routine tasks with little to no supervision. Take vital signs. Assist with walking and light exercise. Assist with dining: serve, distribute meal trays, encourage consumption of food and fluids, and clean up the meal area. Make beds, change linens, handle laundry and ironing as needed. Perform light housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, and garbage removal. Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming. Engage in physical and mental exercises. Provide medication reminders and manage medication with proper documentation. Assist with calendar reminders and distribution of mail. Encourage participation in scheduled activities. Follow the written service plan and suggest techniques to maintain or improve resident independence. Ensure resident safety and security by supervising the home environment. Record daily care notes; complete and maintain daily activities and observations within the electronic medical record system. Demonstrate the Sun Health Mission and Values. Your Qualifications High School diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificate of Completion of a Caregiver Training Program approved by the NCIA board, including supervisory, personal and directed hours. Current or able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current Adult CPR and First Aid Card. Current Arizona Food Handlers Card.
