Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM
Shift: 3rd Shift

Job Summary

The CIP (Clean‐In‐Place) Operator is responsible for performing sanitation of production equipment, tanks, lines, and processing systems to ensure safe, high‐quality food manufacturing. This role follows strict GMP, food safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and compliant facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CIP systems to clean and sanitize equipment, piping, and production lines according to established procedures.
• Prepare chemical solutions, verify concentrations, and ensure proper documentation of sanitation activities.
• Perform pre‐ and post‐sanitation inspections to confirm equipment cleanliness and readiness for production.
• Follow all GMPs, food safety policies, and sanitation SOPs at all times.
• Monitor CIP cycles, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates to ensure proper cleaning performance.
• Complete required logs, checklists, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Safely handle chemicals and adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to coordinate cleaning schedules and equipment changeovers.
• Identify and report any equipment issues, sanitation concerns, or deviations immediately.
• Maintain a clean work environment and assist with general sanitation tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must pass a 10‐year background check; no felonies.
• Must have reliable personal transportation.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, sanitation, or CIP operations preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, SOPs, and GMP guidelines.
• Comfortable working with chemicals, hot water, and pressurized systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs . and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours if production requires.
