The Quality Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that documents, records, and data consistently meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position focuses on thorough document review, accurate data entry, and efficient record management while supporting quality assurance processes and systems. The role offers the opportunity to help reduce a backlog of quality documentation and may evolve into a long-term opportunity based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal quality control practices in all assigned tasks.

• Thoroughly review quality and regulatory documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant regulations and internal standards.

• Edit and format quality documents to meet submission requirements and established templates.

• Convert documents into various formats, including transforming PDFs into usable word processing documents suitable for regulatory or quality purposes.

• Work with document templates to ensure consistent structure, formatting, and presentation across all quality documentation.

• Maintain a well-organized system for storing and retrieving both electronic and physical documents, ensuring records are easily accessible and properly archived.

• Submit records accurately and promptly into the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).

• Perform strong and accurate data entry, including moving data from one system to another when needed.

• Use Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, on a daily basis to complete documentation, communication, and record-keeping tasks.

• Support efforts to catch up on existing documentation backlog and contribute to ongoing process improvements in quality and regulatory document handling.

Essential Skills

• Experience with quality assurance testing, quality control, or regulatory documentation in a professional setting.

• Demonstrated ability to format quality or regulatory documents according to established standards and templates.

• Proficiency in converting PDFs to editable and usable documents for quality or regulatory purposes.

• Strong data entry skills, including high typing speed and accuracy, supported by professional experience.

• Ability to move data accurately from one system to another while maintaining data integrity.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with quality assurance standards or regulatory standards from a previous position.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong word processing skills and overall computer efficiency in a professional environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quality-related field, is preferred. (Degree not required)

• Experience working with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).

• Experience handling and organizing both electronic and physical records in a structured manner.

• Salesforce experience is not required but is beneficial and may be highlighted.

• Ability to follow established templates and formatting guidelines for quality and regulatory documents.

• Comfort using online tools or tests to demonstrate typing speed and data entry proficiency.

Work Environment

This role follows a standard full-time schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is focused on office-based tasks, with extensive use of computers and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. The work involves managing both electronic and physical documents within a structured quality and regulatory environment and contributing to the reduction of a documentation backlog. The setting supports professional growth in quality assurance and regulatory documentation and may lead to a longer-term opportunity based on performance and organizational needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Grove City, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
