Job Title Groundskeeper, Multifamily Vista Park Apartments Job Summary As a Groundskeeper, you play a key role in making our apartment communities a great place to live! The Groundskeeper is a member of the Maintenance staff working directly with the Maintenance Supervisor and the office staff to provide world‑class service to our residents. The Groundskeeper is a “hands‑on” professional whose goal is to make sure everything is working right every day. Responsibilities Overall upkeep of the property landscape and exterior image, including cleaning of driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, and other public areas. Maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas. Snow removal and routine pool maintenance. Providing world‑class customer service by addressing residents’ concerns and maintenance needs in a friendly and professional manner. Assisting on other Maintenance staff projects as needed. Performing any other related duties as required or assigned. Adhering to Cushman & Wakefield uniform and professional appearance standards. Maintaining all safety procedures and safeguarding all company tools and equipment. Competencies Excellent oral and written communication skills. Willingness to work evenings or weekends (on call) in case of an emergency. Ability to take direction in English or Spanish. Professional and courteous conduct. Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person. Timeliness and adherence to company policies and procedures. Practice of necessary safety protocols and procedures. Readiness to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Education High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school required. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. It requires regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended or continuous periods. Ascend and descend staircases, ladders, or step stools. Travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. Sit or stand for 85% of the time. Operate office machinery. Travel up to 10% of the time. Exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, or up to 50 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Benefits & Compensation The compensation for this role is $17.85 - $21.00 per hour. The company does not pay less than minimum wage.
