CT Technologist

Job Summary The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of CT imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality diagnostic results. This role requires a skilled professional capable of working independently and assisting with examinations for both emergency department and inpatient populations in a busy imaging department. Key Responsibilities Perform all CT procedures with accuracy and efficiency. Operate CT equipment according to established protocols. Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. Provide assistance to the CT department, particularly with busy ED and inpatient demands. Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and patient care. Document patient information and imaging results accurately. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CT imaging. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience providing assistance in busy Emergency Department and inpatient services. Certifications AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - CT Skills Proficient in performing all CT procedures. Ability to work independently.
