We're looking for an experienced and motivated Line Cook to join our growing team at our upscale neighborhood café in Brooklyn. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in a commercial kitchen, thrives in fast-paced service, and can handle the pressure of a busy line while maintaining exceptional food quality and timely customer service. Someone who takes pride in their work and demonstrates it through dependability, punctuality, organization, and a willingness to adapt and grow will thrive here. You will be responsible for learning and preparing all menu items, following recipes and chef instructions while working closely with the kitchen manager, chef, and fellow staff members. We value team members who bring a positive attitude, reliability, and a customer service–oriented mindset. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing all menu items according to recipes and chef standards
• Maintaining consistency in quality, timing, and presentation
• Demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness, organization, and station readiness
• Following kitchen safety procedures and complying with all NYC DOH standards
• Collaborating closely with kitchen staff and management
• Managing multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume service
• Taking ownership of daily responsibilities
• Bringing adaptability, teamwork, and creativity when appropriate

A NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate is preferred but not required. Strong English communication skills are preferred, and Spanish is a plus but optional.
