Job Purpose & Scope

Provides technical and administrative support for all repossession, remarketing, litigation, insurance, third-party agency, and loan servicing activities.

Essential Job Functions

1. Provide frontline support in managing the Bank's internal collection operation.
2. Coordinate all repossession activity in securing collateral for personal property
3. Facilitate all special servicing requirements for the Consumer & Small Business loan
4. Follow all federal, state and municipal collections laws, to include the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA).
5. Resolve insurance exceptions within the Indirect Lending
6. Assign legal placements to the legal network for
7. Reconcile monthly vendor
8. Assist with any remarketing activities needed during the asset disposition process for personal property
9. Assist in making collection calls when
10. Field incoming calls into the department's inbound ACD group.
11. Maintain good punctuality and attendance to
12. Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

1. Knowledge of federal, state, and municipal collection
2. Knowledge of general banking
3. Skill in customer service.
4. Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills to discuss sensitive financial situations in a tactful, empathic manner and maintain the Bank's image.
5. Skill in analytical calculations, time management, and problem-
6. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in
7. Ability to multi-task and work under general
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exacting
9. Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Basic Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent,
2. One (1) or more years' experience with MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook,
3. Prior collection experience
