School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a 39-week assignment in Thornton, Colorado. Provide speech-language therapy to K-8 students, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with school staff. Earn competitive pay of $72 per hour and access to comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a classroom setting, assessing their needs and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement therapy strategies and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate services and support student development.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students across multiple grade levels, ensuring inclusive and effective interventions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certified Clinical Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Colorado state licensure
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in school settings with K-8 students, handling mild to severe case loads
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and adapt to various classroom settings
