Marketing Manager

Description Job Title: Marketing Manager Salary; Exempt Status Reports to : Chief Relationship Officer Duties and Responsibilities Cultivate positive relationships with donors, volunteers, board members, and community partners, fostering a culture of philanthropy and engagement across diverse stakeholder groups. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, working with the Chief Relationship Officer, to promote the organization's mission, programs, and events. Design engaging and visually appealing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, annual reports, and digital graphics, to support promotional campaigns and events. Manage all aspects of social media presence, including content creation, posting schedules, community engagement, and analytics tracking across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Oversee social media calendar as well as plan, implement and analyze all social media efforts. Develop compelling content to increase community awareness, volunteer involvement and donations throughout all mediums. Communicate with followers and respond within a timely manner. Assist in the development and execution of event marketing to increase attendance and engagement. Provide administrative support for events, including maintaining attendee databases, preparing event materials, and coordinating with volunteers. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing, events management, and graphic design. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including the fundraising team, program managers, and executive leadership, to gather information and insights for marketing campaigns, social media and event materials. Collaborate closely with the Chief Relationship Officer to develop communication strategies and messaging for engaging event sponsors and guests. Update and maintain the organization's website, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging. Track analytics and optimize marketing strategies to improve engagement and reach. Design and update the agency’s annual report. Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels, social media and printed collateral. Represent the organization at public speaking engagements, including community events, conferences, and meetings, to promote awareness of our mission, programs, and initiatives. Support intake of donations as needed. Assist in other activities assigned by Chief Relationship Officer. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Proven experience (1-2 years) in marketing, events coordination, graphic design, social media management, and website maintenance, preferably in a non-profit or similar environment. Proficient in graphic design tools (i.e., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud), social media management tools, email marketing tools (i.e. Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and web content management systems (i.e., Wordpress, Squarespace). Skillful in website security/fraud and risk tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling and engaging content creation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to making a positive impact in the community. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events and donor engagement activities. Non-profit agency experience a plus. Sets a high standard of professional, technical, personal conduct and competence for subordinate personnel. Emphasizes safety to keep employee injury to a minimum. Have a current Texas Driver’s License. Minimum Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during events. Capacity to lift and carry event equipment, supplies, and materials weighing up to a certain weight (e.g., 25-50 pounds).
