Physical Therapist

Tallahassee Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, specializing in comprehensive orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. In this role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based care to patients with musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, helping them restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities and lifestyles they value most.

As a Physical Therapist with our practice, you will perform thorough evaluations, including detailed musculoskeletal and functional movement assessments, to develop personalized plans of care tailored to each patient’s goals and activity level. You will utilize a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, post-operative rehabilitation protocols, and appropriate modalities to optimize outcomes. Your caseload will include a diverse range of orthopedic and sports conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, acute and chronic joint and soft tissue injuries, spine conditions, and return-to-sport programs for athletes of all ages.

You will collaborate closely with referring physicians, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Clear, timely documentation in our electronic medical record system and the use of objective outcome measures will be essential to track progress, guide clinical decision-making, and communicate results to patients and providers. Patient education will be a central part of your day, as you empower individuals with knowledge about their diagnosis, home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and long-term self-management.
