Contract | 8-Week Assignment | 4x10-Hour Evening Shifts (10:30 AM – 9:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in accordance with ASPAN standards at a Level II Trauma Center
• Care for a diverse patient population including pediatric (1 year and older), adult, and geriatric patients
• Support same-day surgery, inpatient admissions, and observation patients across a broad range of surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, thoracic, bariatric, and trauma, among others
• Chart accurately and efficiently using EPIC
• Float between units or sister facilities as operationally required
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU or pre/post-operative nursing experience
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)
• Facility does not accept background check hits; clean background required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including pediatric, cardiovascular, and neuro/spine cases
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center environment
