CT Tech - Per Diem

This position requires availability for the following shifts:

• Fridays: 2pm - 10:30pm
• Saturdays: 7am - 3:30pm and 3pm - 11:30pm
• Sundays: 3pm - 11:30pm

Job Description

The CT Tech will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulatory requirements. They will function as the primary interface with customers to meet their imaging needs, participate in performance improvement and quality control activities, and be responsible for the processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing diagnostic radiographic procedures
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participating in quality control and performance improvement activities
• Processing and transmitting images to the PACS
• Functioning as the first line of customer interface

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current CRT issued by CDPH
• Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Venipuncture certificate to be obtained within 3 months of hire
• ARRT-R certification required
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
• EPIC EMR experience
