Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 2-week assignment in Fort Stockton, Texas. Provide comprehensive nursing care during childbirth, collaborate with the care team, and monitor fetal heart rates. The assignment offers competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to patients throughout the entire childbirth process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond promptly to any abnormalities.
- Assist in pre- and post-delivery procedures, including triaging patients arriving in labor.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current NRP certification.
- At least 1 year of labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Current Tdap vaccine.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to rotating schedules.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
