It includes state-of-the-art operating suites. Various trauma cases are flown to this facility. It provides healthcare services to multiple states. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. The facility also features a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. Accreditations include PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory. The facility has been recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Clients in the U.S. It has received a reputation award in healthcare. The location is in a picturesque river valley region. The surrounding area features natural beauty with rivers, lakes, golf courses, and national parks. There are numerous attractions for outdoor activities and historical sightseeing. This position involves team nursing and a pod system. A social worker is assigned to the department, and a unit educator is available. The emergency department has 48 beds with flex space. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in the fast track. Key equipment includes Zoll Defibrillators, Level One Blood Transfusers, and Ultrasound Guided IV systems. Electronic health records are managed using Cerner. Common patient populations include individuals with ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and various psychiatric conditions. This role requires skills in handling a range of emergency conditions, including abdominal and chest pain. Experience in emergency department settings is preferred.
